Calling All Artist

Digby Scallop Days challenges you the artist to create an original piece of art that will broaden and engage viewers in a memorable experience seeing all Digby has to offer through the eyes of the artist.

All art work will be displayed from Thursday August 7th to Sunday August 10th at the Heritage Center, located downtown.  Artist must donate one piece of art which will be used in the judging and silent auction.  We ask that the donated piece be created during the festival.  Artists will be allowed to bring in previous pieces, maximum of 4 to be viewed and sold at the Heritage Center located downtown.  

The “Artists Works Sale” will be on Sunday at the Heritage Center where artist are asked to be on site to sell their works of art. The judging and silent auction on the donated pieces will be held Sunday 1-4pm during the street fest, located on Water St. Judging will be done by the general public in ballot form, and prices will be awarded for 1^st  2^nd and 3^rd.

Arts in the following categories are eligible: oils/ acrylics/ watercolors/ pastels/ drawing/ charcoal/ pen and ink, etc. No photography, prints, electronic/ computer generated art or 3-D.
